Todorić families are mainly Croats and they are mostly from Imotski area , less frequently Serbs. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Imotski area and in Imotsko. In Grabovac Vojnićki in Duga Resa area nearly every inhabitant had the family name Todorić.
Prevalence
About 520 people with faimily name Todorić live in Croatia today, in 220 households. There were 470 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number increased by 10 percent. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 27 cities and 39 other places, mostly in Zmijavci in Imotski area (145), Zagreb (135), Split (35), Imotski (25), and in Otok in Vinkovci area (15).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned over ten times, the first time 1689 in source Catholic Church Parish Records.
