Todić families are mainly Serbs and they are mostly from Bosnian Posavina , whereas often Croats (from Osijek ). In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Bosanian Posavina (Banovici area) and in Doboj, Bosnia (Doboj area). In Rožanj in Podrinje (Bosnia) every second inhabitant had the family name Todić.
Prevalence
About 130 people with faimily name Todić live in Croatia today, in 60 households. There were 10 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number multiplied. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 19 cities and 14 other places, mostly in Zagreb (30), Osijek (25), Borovo in Vukovar area (15), Pula (<10), and in Sibenik (<10).
Outside Croatia
At least one family with this surname emigrated from Croatia to the United States. Family name Todić (including: Todich , Todic ) is present in 18 countries on three continents. "Todich " is used by some 50 people in the United States.
