They are located in 9 Croatian counties, in 9 cities and 16 other places, mostly in Zagreb (15), Berek in Cazma area (15), Zlatar (10), Crncevec in Krizevci area (10), and in Belisce (<10).

Family name Stubičan is present in three countries on three continents. The family name "Stubican " is used by small number of people in Australia and small number of people in the United States.
