About 20 people with faimily name Rumić live in Croatia today, in 13 households. There were 60 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased significantly. They are located in 7 Croatian counties, four cities and 5 other places, mostly in Rasinja in Koprivnica area (<10), Martinusevec in Cakovec area (<10), Zagreb (<10), Rovisce in Bjelovar area (<5), and in Pula (<5).
