In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Glina area and in Novska. In Stipan in Glina area every third inhabitant had the family name Romčević.
Prevalence
About 110 people with faimily name Romčević live in Croatia today, in 60 households. There were 310 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased significantly. They are located in 10 Croatian counties, in 13 cities and 13 other places, mostly in Zagreb (20), Stipan in Glina area (20), Novska (<10), Dugo Selo Lasinjsko in Glina area (<10), and in Karlovac (<10).
