Roguljić families are Croats and they are mostly from Sinj area. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Split and in Sinj area. In places Rože and Gardun in Sinj area every fourth inhabitant had the family name Roguljić.
Prevalence
About 730 people with faimily name Roguljić live in Croatia today, in 250 households. There were 500 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number increased by 50 percent. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 22 cities and 38 other places, mostly in Split (95), Mravince (95), Trilj in Sinj area (90), Solin (65), and in Osijek (45).

At least 15 families with this surname emigrated from Croatia to: Germany (9), the United States (3), Australia (2), and to Brazil (1). Family name Roguljić is present in 8 countries on three continents. The family name "Roguljic " is used by small number of people in Czech Republic , small number in Germany , and small number of people in the United States.
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned over five times, the first time 1923 in source Emigration Commission Zagreb.
