In Croatia, Rebrača families are mainly Serbs, less frequently Croats (from Zadar area ). In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Glina and Zagreb.
Prevalence
About 20 people with faimily name Rebrača live in Croatia today, in 11 households. There were 80 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased significantly. They are located and two other Croatian places, mostly in Glina (<10), Zagreb (<10), Vukovar (<5), Nova Gradiska (<5), and in Tenja (<5).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned few times, the first time 1923 in source Emigration Commission Zagreb.
