In Croatia, Radjenović families are predominantly Serbs, rarely Croats (from Osijek ). In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Zupanja area and in Western Bosnia (Drvar area). In Malo Očijevo in Western Bosnia every third inhabitant had the family name Radjenović.
Prevalence
About 10 people with faimily name Radjenović live in Croatia today, in 11 households. There were 20 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number halved. They are located in 9 Croatian counties, in 7 cities and 6 other places, mostly in Drenovci in Zupanja area (<5), Split (<5), Rijeka (<5), Petrinja (<5), and in Stobrec (<5).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned over ten times, the first time 1936 in source Emigration Commission Zagreb.
