In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Zagreb and in Klanjec area. In Gaber in Pregrada area every twentieth inhabitant had the family name Pustišek.
Prevalence
About 50 people with faimily name Pustišek live in Croatia today, in 20 households. There were 40 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number increased by 20 percent. They are only located in in 6 Croatian cities and threee other places, mostly in Zagreb (30), Velika Mlaka (15), Pristava in Klanjec area (<5), Zapresic (<5), and in Kostrena Sveta Lucija in Bakr area (<5).
