About 200 people with faimily name Premuž live in Croatia today, in 90 households. There were 250 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased by 20 percent. They are located in 10 Croatian counties, in 15 cities and 27 other places, mostly in Zagreb (30), Prozor (15), Otocac (15), Cestica in Ivanec area (15), and in Varazdin (15).
Outside Croatia
At least four families with this surname emigrated from Croatia to: Germany (2), the United States (1), and to Venezuela (1). Family name Premuž is present in this form only in Croatia.
