They are located in 7 Croatian counties, in 9 cities and 11 other places, mostly in Duga Resa (25), Karlovac (15), Zagreb (10), Dobrenici in Ogulin area (<10), and in Zadar (<10).
Outside Croatia
At least three families with this surname emigrated from Croatia to: the Netherlands (1), the United States (1), and to Australia (1). Family name Popovački is present in three countries on three continents.
