Pejković families are mainly Croats and they are mostly from Omis area , rarely Bosniaks. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Split and in Bosanian Posavina (Brcko area).
Prevalence
About 450 people with faimily name Pejković live in Croatia today, in 210 households. There were 330 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number increased by 40 percent. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 23 cities and 31 other places, mostly in Split (155), Zagreb (70), Makarska (40), Zezevica in Omis area (30), and in Rijeka (20).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned over ten times, the first time 2007 in source Encyclopaedia of Croatian Surnames.
