Pavliček families are Croats and they are mostly from Ludbreg area. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Varazdin and Zagreb. In Presečno Visočko in Novi Marof area every ninth inhabitant had the family name Pavliček.
Prevalence
About 180 people with faimily name Pavliček live in Croatia today, in 70 households. There were 220 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased by 20 percent. They are located in 10 Croatian counties, in 18 cities and 18 other places, mostly in Presecno Visocko in Novi Marof area (25), Gregurovec in Krizevci area (15), Zagreb (15), Imbriovec Jalzabetski in Ludbreg area (10), and in Ledina in Vrbovec area (10).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned over five times, the first time 1942 in source Phone Directory of the Independent State of Croatia 1942.
