Panjković families are mainly Serbs and they are mostly from Otocac area , whereas often Croats (from Sisak ). In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Nasice area and in Zagreb.
Prevalence
About 90 people with faimily name Panjković live in Croatia today, in 50 households. There were 170 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number halved. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 13 cities and 12 other places, mostly in Sisak (15), Djurdjenovac in Nasice area (10), Kordusevci in Slavonski Brod area (10), Zagreb (<10), and in Osijek (<10).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned over ten times, the first time 1917 in source List of Dignitaries, Officials and Public Servants of the Kingdom of Croatia-Slavonia.
