In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Banja Luka Region, Bosnia (Banja Luka area) and in Cazins Region, Bosnia (Sanski Most area).
Prevalence
About 70 people with faimily name Osmančević live in Croatia today, in 30 households. There were 10 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number multiplied. They are located in 10 Croatian counties, in 16 cities and 6 other places, mostly in Zagreb (25), Rijeka (<10), Zadar (<10), Bibali (<10), and in Split (<10).

Family name Osmančević is present in 14 countries on three continents. The family name "Osmancevic " is used by some 300 people in Germany , about 100 in Sweden , and some 80 people in the United States.
