Surname Ojdanić in modern Croatia

Ojdanić families are usually Croats and they are mostly from Banja Luka area (Bosnia), rarely Serbs. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Banja Luka Region, Bosnia (Banja Luka area) and in Split. In Zalužani in Banja Luka Region (Bosnia) every fifth inhabitant had the family name Ojdanić.

Prevalence

About 190 people with faimily name Ojdanić live in Croatia today, in 90 households. There were 70 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number more than doubled.
They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 25 cities and 24 other places, mostly in Split (25), Rijeka (15), Zagreb (10), Ruzic in Drnis area (10), and in Okucani in Nova Gradiska area (10).
