Nevistić families are Croats and they are mostly from western Bosnia (Tomislavgrad). In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Western Bosnia (Tomislavgrad area) and in Middle Bosnia (Travnik area). In places Sečevo and Radonjići in Middle Bosnia every seventh inhabitant had the family name Nevistić.
Prevalence
About 240 people with faimily name Nevistić live in Croatia today, in 100 households. There were 10 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number multiplied. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 21 cities and 21 other places, mostly in Zagreb (115), Stari Mikanovci in Djakovo area (20), Djakovo (10), Omis (10), and in Split (<10).
