In Croatia, Miškov families are almost entirely Croats (from the Island of Pasman ), very rarely Serbs. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Knin and Sibenik.
Prevalence
About 40 people with faimily name Miškov live in Croatia today, in 19 households. There were 70 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased by 50 percent. They are located in 10 Croatian counties, in 8 cities and four other places, mostly in Petrijevci in Valpovo area (<10), Tkon on the Island of Pasman (<10), Zlarin (<10), Zagreb (<10), and in Split (<5).
