Maglov families are mainly Serbs and they are mostly from Knin , whereas often Croats (from Sibenik ). In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Knin and Sibenik. In Štrbe in Bosnian Krajina every fourth inhabitant had the family name Maglov.
Prevalence
About 150 people with faimily name Maglov live in Croatia today, in 70 households. There were 120 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number increased by 30 percent. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 16 cities and 8 other places, mostly in Zagreb (25), Knin (20), Split (15), Kovacevac (15), and in Sibenik (10).
