Livančić families are Croats and they are mostly from middle Bosnia. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Middle Bosnia (Vitez area) and in Middle Bosnia (Busovaca area). In places Šantići and Prosje in Middle Bosnia every sixth inhabitant had the family name Livančić.
Prevalence
About 80 people with faimily name Livančić live in Croatia today, in 30 households. There were 20 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number multiplied. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 17 cities and 13 other places, mostly in Zagreb (20), Split (20), Vodnjan in Pula area (<10), Kriz in Ivanic-Grad area (<10), and in Komletinci in Vinkovci area (<10).

Family name Livančić is present in 9 countries on three continents.
