Lastrić families are Croats and they are mostly from Bosnian Posavina. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Bosanian Posavina (Brcko area) and in Vinkovci. In Bijela in Bosanian Posavina every sixtieth inhabitant had the family name Lastrić.
Prevalence
About 100 people with faimily name Lastrić live in Croatia today, in 50 households. There were 40 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number more than doubled. They are located in 10 Croatian counties, in 15 cities and 7 other places, mostly in Zagreb (45), Crikvenica (<10), Vinkovci (<10), Velika Gorica (<10), and in Slavonski Brod (<10).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned over five times, the first time 1942 in source Phone Directory of the Independent State of Croatia 1942.
