Kuridža families are mainly Serbs and they are mostly from Cazinska Krajina Region (Bosnia), whereas often Croats (from Herzegovina). In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Cazins Region, Bosnia (Kljuc area) and in Zagreb. In Stražice in Cazins Region (Bosnia) every third inhabitant had the family name Kuridža.
Prevalence
About 90 people with faimily name Kuridža live in Croatia today, in 40 households. There were 90 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number remains constant. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 15 cities and 10 other places, mostly in Zagreb (30), Kutina (10), Osijek (<10), Velika Gorica (<10), and in Garesnica (<10).
