Kulušić families are Croats and they are mostly from Drnis. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Drnis and Sibenik.
Prevalence
About 510 people with faimily name Kulušić live in Croatia today, in 200 households. There were 350 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number increased by 50 percent. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 16 cities and 31 other places, mostly in Sibenik (115), Murter on the Island of Murter (55), Zagreb (50), Split (45), and in Drinovci (40).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned over ten times, the first time 1925 in source Emigration Commission Zagreb.
