Krupić families are mainly Croats and they are mostly from Bosnian Posavina , often Bosniaks (also from Bosnian Posavina ). In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Cazins Region, Bosnia (Sanski Most area) and in Zadar.
Prevalence
About 110 people with faimily name Krupić live in Croatia today, in 50 households. There were 30 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number more than tripled. They are located in 10 Croatian counties, in 17 cities and 10 other places, mostly in Zagreb (30), Zadar (20), Rijeka (10), Osijek (<10), and in Sisak (<10).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned over ten times, the first time 1906 in source Yearbook and Directory of Literary Society of St. Jerome 1906.
