About 20 people with faimily name Kriška live in Croatia today, in 14 households. There were 10 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number doubled. They are located in 9 Croatian counties, in 12 cities and four other places, mostly in Split (<10), Zagreb (<5), Slatina (<5), Markovac Nasicki (<5), and in Rijeka (<5).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned few times, the first time 1929 in source Emigration Commission Zagreb.
