Kršulja families are Croats and they are mostly from Sali on Dugi (Long) Island. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Zadar and on Dugi, Long Island. In Sveta Marina in Labin area every fourth inhabitant had the family name Kršulja.
Prevalence
About 70 people with faimily name Kršulja live in Croatia today, in 30 households. There were 40 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number increased by 80 percent. They are located in four Croatian counties, four cities and 11 other places, mostly in Sali on Dugi (Long) Island (20), Zadar (<10), Labin (<10), Presika (<10), and in Rabac (<10).
Outside Croatia
At least one family with this surname emigrated from Croatia to the United States. Family name Kršulja is present in three countries on three continents. The family name "Krsulja " is used by small number of people in Australia and small number of people in the United States.
