Komlenić families are mainly Serbs and they are mostly from Daruvar area , whereas often Croats. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Daruvar area and in Vrbovsko. In Pakrani in Daruvar area every fourth inhabitant had the family name Komlenić.
Prevalence
About 100 people with faimily name Komlenić live in Croatia today, in 60 households. There were 190 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number halved. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 21 cities and 9 other places, mostly in Zagreb (20), Rijeka (<10), Pakrani in Daruvar area (<10), Daruvar (<10), and in Novska (<10).

Family name Komlenić is present in 7 countries on three continents. The family name "Komlenic " is used by some 50 people in the United States and small number in Italy.
