Klepo families are usually Croats and they are mostly from Vrlika , rarely Bosniaks. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Vrlika and Knin. In Kosore in Vrlika every sixth inhabitant had the family name Klepo.
Prevalence
About 280 people with faimily name Klepo live in Croatia today, in 100 households. There were 170 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number increased by 70 percent. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 20 cities and 15 other places, mostly in Split (60), Zagreb (60), Kosore (45), Djakovo (25), and in Dubrovnik (15).
