About 230 people with faimily name Kirasić live in Croatia today, in 80 households. There were 210 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number increased by 10 percent. They are located in 8 Croatian counties, in 11 cities and 12 other places, mostly in Ogulin (85), Sveti Petar (60), Zagreb (25), Puskarici (20), and in Josipdol in Ogulin area (10).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned over five times, the first time 1937 in source Emigration Commission Zagreb.
