Prevalence
About 30 people with faimily name Kampuš live in Croatia today, in 15 households. There were 30 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number remains constant. They are located in 6 Croatian counties, in 6 cities and threee other places, mostly in Zagreb (10), Varazdin (<10), in Strmec Humski (<10) and Oresje Humsko (<10) in Pregrada area, and in Rijeka (<5).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned few times, the first time 1902 in source Hartmann's General List of Apartments in Zagreb.
