Kablar families are mainly Croats and they are mostly from Garesnica , often Serbs. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Knin and Garesnica.
Prevalence
About 150 people with faimily name Kablar live in Croatia today, in 70 households. There were 130 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number increased by 20 percent. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 17 cities and 18 other places, mostly in Golubic (25), Pula (20), Zagreb (15), Biovicino Selo in Knin area (15), and in Jurici in Pazin area (10).

Family name Kablar is present in 16 countries on four continents.
