In Croatia, Jutronić families are Croats (from the Island of Brac ). In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Split and on the Island of Brac.
Prevalence
About 40 people with faimily name Jutronić live in Croatia today, in 19 households. There were 70 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased by 40 percent. They are located in two Croatian counties, threee cities and another small place , mostly in Sutivan on the Island of Brac (25), Split (15), Zagreb (<5), and in Vis on the Island of Vis (<5).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned few times, the first time 1923 in source Emigration Commission Zagreb.
