Juričević families are Croats and they are mostly from middle Bosnia. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Middle Bosnia (Gornji Vakuf area) and in Split.
Prevalence
About 350 people with faimily name Juričević live in Croatia today, in 160 households. There were 200 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number increased by 70 percent. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 31 cities and 31 other places, mostly in Kostanje (55), Zagreb (35), Split (25), Omis (25), and in Posedarje in Zadar area (25).
Outside Croatia
Family name Juričević (including: Juricevic , Juricevich and Yuricevic ) is present in 14 countries on four continents. The family name "Juricevic " is used by small number of people in the United States , small number in Canada , and small number of people in Austria.
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned over ten times, the first time 1902 in source Hartmann's General List of Apartments in Zagreb.
