Juršić families are Croats and they are mostly from Mursko Sredisce area. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Zagreb and Cakovec. In Cukrići in Labin area every tenth inhabitant had the family name Juršić.
Prevalence
About 180 people with faimily name Juršić live in Croatia today, in 90 households. There were 300 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased by 40 percent. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 18 cities and 23 other places, mostly in Zagreb (40), Pula (20), Cakovec (15), Nedelisce in Cakovec area (10), and in Dugo Selo (10).
