In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Duga Resa area and in Karlovac. In Gornja Brusovača in Duga Resa area every eighth inhabitant had the family name Jagrović.
Prevalence
About 20 people with faimily name Jagrović live in Croatia today, in 9 households. There were 40 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number halved. They are located in four Croatian counties, four cities and two other places, mostly in Gornja Brusovaca in Duga Resa area (<10), Karlovac (<5), Zagreb (<5), Umag (<5), and in Sisak (<5).
Outside Croatia
Family name Jagrović (including: Jagrovic , Jagerovic ) is present in five countries on two continents. The family name "Jagrovic " is used by few people in the United States.
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned few times, the first time 1917 in source List of Dignitaries, Officials and Public Servants of the Kingdom of Croatia-Slavonia.
