Ivešić families are Croats and they are mostly from middle Bosnia. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Middle Bosnia (Maglaj area) and in Middle Bosnia (Zavidovici area). In places Radojčići and Debelo Brdo in Middle Bosnia every sixth inhabitant had the family name Ivešić.

About 200 people with faimily name Ivešić live in Croatia today, in 70 households. There were 0 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number multiplied. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 18 cities and 28 other places, mostly in Zagreb (30), Novi Grad in Slavonski Brod area (20), Jaruge in Zupanja area (20), Rijeka (<10), and in Pula (<10).
