Ibrahimović families are mainly Bosniaks and they are mostly from Podrinje (Bosnia), also Croats (iz Tuzla Region, Bosnia), very rarely Roms. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Zagreb and in Bosanian Posavina (Gradacac area). In Pobuđe in Podrinje (Bosnia) every second inhabitant had the family name Ibrahimović.
Prevalence
About 270 people with faimily name Ibrahimović live in Croatia today, in 120 households. There were 10 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number multiplied. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 34 cities and 30 other places, mostly in Zagreb (90), Pula (25), Garica on the Island of Krk (20), Sibenik (15), and in Rijeka (15).
