In Croatia, Husarić families are almost entirely Croats (from Ivanic-Grad ), barely Bosniaks (from Middle Bosnia ). In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Ivanic-Grad and in Zagreb. In Trebovec in Ivanic-Grad every eighth inhabitant had the family name Husarić.
Prevalence
About 50 people with faimily name Husarić live in Croatia today, in 20 households. There were 70 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased by 20 percent. They are only located in in 7 Croatian cities and 6 other places, mostly in Dugo Selo (10), Ivanic-Grad (10), Pula (<10), Posavski Bregi (<5), and in Jezevo in Dugo Selo area (<5).
