Hasić families are mainly Bosniaks and they are mostly from Bosnian Posavina , whereas often Croats (from Slavonski Brod ). In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Zagreb and in Bosanian Posavina (Gradacac area). In Mrgan in Bosanian Posavina every second inhabitant had the family name Hasić.
Prevalence
About 150 people with faimily name Hasić live in Croatia today, in 70 households. There were 10 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number multiplied. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 28 cities and 32 other places, mostly in Zagreb (70), Pula (25), Rijeka (15), Slavonski Brod (15), and in Split (10).
