In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Zagreb and in Klanjec area. In Banska Gorica in Klanjec area nearly every inhabitant had the family name Haramina.

About 420 people with faimily name Haramina live in Croatia today, in 180 households. There were 380 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number increased by 10 percent. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 21 cities and 42 other places, mostly in Zagreb (175), Djakovo (35), Vidovec Krapinski (20), Trsteno in Klanjec area (15), and in Pristava Krapinska (15).
