Gregurić families are Croats and they are mostly from Djurdjevac area. According to some sources they are from Perusic. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Zagreb and Zabok. In Dubrava Zabočka in Zabok every seventh inhabitant had the family name Gregurić.
Prevalence
About 1200 people with faimily name Gregurić live in Croatia today, in 510 households. There were 1500 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased by 20 percent. They are located in almost all Croatian counties, in 49 cities and 157 other places, mostly in Zagreb (260), Dubrava Zabocka (80), Strucljevo in Zabok area (40), Glina (35), and in Varazdin (35).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned over forty times, the first time 1902 in source Hartmann's General List of Apartments in Zagreb.
