Fatorić families are predominantly Croats and they are mostly from Buje area , less frequently Italians. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Pula and in Buje area. In Grubići in Buje area every second inhabitant had the family name Fatorić.
Prevalence
About 80 people with faimily name Fatorić live in Croatia today, in 30 households. There were 80 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number remains constant. They are located in two Croatian counties, in 6 cities and 9 other places, mostly in Porec (15), Grubici in Buje area (15), Rovinj (10), Labin (<10), and in Vizinada in Buje area (<10).
