About 90 people with faimily name Fanjek live in Croatia today, in 40 households. There were 150 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased by 40 percent. They are located in four Croatian counties, threee cities and 13 other places, mostly in Bukovec Zelinski (35), Zagreb (15), Donja Zelina (15), Karlovac (<10), and in Mahicno (<10).
