In Croatia, Fabjanović families are Croats (from the Island of Brac ). In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born on the Island of Brac and in Split. In Škrip on the Island of Brac every eighth inhabitant had the family name Fabjanović.
Prevalence
About 40 people with faimily name Fabjanović live in Croatia today, in 20 households. There were 60 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased by 30 percent. They are located in threee Croatian counties and 6 other places, mostly in Split (15), in Supetar (<10) and Bol (<10) on the Island of Brac, Stobrec (<5), and in Skrip on the Island of Brac (<5).
