About 190 people with faimily name Dulčić live in Croatia today, in 100 households. There were 270 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased by 30 percent. They are located in 9 Croatian counties, in 16 cities and 5 other places, mostly in Split (65), Stari Grad on the Island of Hvar (45), Zagreb (40), and in Brusje (15) and Hvar (10) on the Island of Hvar.
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned over ten times, the first time 1729 in source Catholic Church Parish Records.
