About 70 people with faimily name Dužić live in Croatia today, in 30 households. There were 100 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased by 30 percent. They are located in 7 Croatian counties, in 10 cities and 5 other places, mostly in Sisak (30), Donje Komarevo (10), Zadar (<10), Jastrebarsko (<10), and in Gornje Komarevo (<10).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned over five times, the first time 1928 in source Emigration Commission Zagreb.
