Domšić families are Croats and they are mostly from Ogulin area. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Ogulin area and in Karlovac. In Donje Bukovlje in Ogulin area every fifth inhabitant had the family name Domšić.
Prevalence
About 120 people with faimily name Domšić live in Croatia today, in 50 households. There were 200 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased by 40 percent. They are located in 6 Croatian counties, in 9 cities and 14 other places, mostly in Duga Resa (20), Karlovac (15), Novi Majur (15), Gornje Bukovlje in Ogulin area (10), and in Virovitica (<10).
