Didić families are predominantly Croats and they are mostly from Sinj area , less frequently Bosniaks (from Bosnian Posavina ). In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Bosanian Posavina (Derventa area) and in Sinj area. In Palanka in Bosanian Posavina every ninth inhabitant had the family name Didić.
Prevalence
About 110 people with faimily name Didić live in Croatia today, in 50 households. There were 70 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number increased by 60 percent. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 14 cities and 16 other places, mostly in Split (30), Crivac in Sinj area (15), Zagreb (<10), Slavonski Brod (<10), and in Strmac in Labin area (<10).
