Danilović families are mainly Serbs and they are mostly from Osijek area , whereas often Croats (from Mursko Sredisce area ), very rarely Montenegrins. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Pozega and Osijek. In Crkveni Vrhovci in Pozega every third inhabitant had the family name Danilović.

About 310 people with faimily name Danilović live in Croatia today, in 150 households. There were 220 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number increased by 40 percent. They are located in almost all Croatian counties, in 31 cities and 34 other places, mostly in Rijeka (35), Zagreb (30), Varazdin (15), Tenja (15), and in Osijek (15).
