In Croatia, Dančulović families are almost entirely Croats (from Ozalj ), barely Serbs. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Ozalj and Sisak. In Dančulovići in Ozalj every fifth inhabitant had the family name Dančulović.
Prevalence
About 50 people with faimily name Dančulović live in Croatia today, in 30 households. There were 70 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased by 30 percent. They are located in 7 Croatian counties, in 13 cities and 8 other places, mostly in Rijeka (<10), Matulji in Opatija area (<10), Zagreb (<5), Kampor on the Island of Rab (<5), and in Karlovac (<5).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned few times, the first time 1924 in source Emigration Commission Zagreb.
